Thomas Schulze received his doctoral degree at the chair of software engineering at the University of Mannheim in 2016.
His research interests revolve around green computing, especially the early-phase estimation of the environmental impact of software. Additionally, fostering the attractiveness and grid-friendliness of e-mobility is part of his research.
He has also been a researcher on several EU projects concerned with optimizing data centres and enabling their seamless integration into smart cities in a way that promotes renewable energy and accommodates grid requirements.
