Person Thanasis Manousis

Thanasis Manousis was born in Serres, Macedonia, Greece. He studied Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biolgy and, while in England for postdoctoral studies, visual arts at Cambridge School of Arts and Technology. He worked as a Lecturer at the Department of Biology at the Aristotle University at Thessaloniki, as a Postdoc Research Associate at the NERC Institute of Virology in Oxford and the Department of Biochemistry and Pharmacy at the AUTH. He is founding member of the Hellenic Evolutionary Society, vice president of the Hellenic Malacological Society and member of the Chamber of Visual Arts of Greece, He currently works on the Hellenic malacofauna and evolutionary phenomena in Mediterranean marine gastropods.
