This book elucidates the landmark trials in cardiology for diabetologists. Including studies where there has either been a major publication of diabetes data, or where there was an important diabetes sub-group within the main article, each chapter lists the key clinical trials, and includes a commentary and ‘take-home’ points on each trial. The first chapter lays down the foundations of clinical trials in cardiology, explaining the clinical issues specific to cardiology and trial design.
