SAFE_LIGHT

This series by Tim van den Oudenhoven connects a series of nightly urban images that were taken over a span of 10+ years across various cities around the world and they are presented in a uniform fashion and as if they were taken over the span of one night from 9.30 PM until the morning, with each passing minute presented on screen. Each image is presented according to the timestamp as shown in the file's metadata.
From a metaphotograpic point of view, they put into the spotlight the narratives we project on to photographs themselves. Each photograph has a description of the flaneur's thoughts or actions, which may or may not be loosely connected or commenting on the photograph.
