DIN EN 1671: Pressure Sewerage Systems Outside Buildings and DWA-A 116-2E: Special Sewerage Systems, Part 2: Pressure Sewerage Systems Outside Buildings

EN 1671, in addition to special requirements on the products to be employed, contains the general requirements placed on the performance of pressure sewerage systems as well as specifications for testing. Standard DWA-A 116-2E supplements the standard specification in order to cover necessary national [German] contents. It assists the planning engineer in recognising and using creatively the margins existing in EN 1671. In the joint publication both sets of technical rules are printed completely in one synoptic directive, i. e. the text passages belonging to each breakdown point are shown one after the other. Through the joint application of EN 1671 and DWA-A 116-2E a qualitatively high level of planning and execution of construction work is achieved.
