Song of the Wild - Lieder der Tiere

Der US-Amerikaner Brad Richter hat sich einen hervorragenden Ruf als klassischer Gitarrist und Komponist von Gitarrenmusik sowie als Pädagoge erworben. Mit „Song of the Wild“ legt er Miniaturen vor, die in moderner Tonsprache jeweils eine Tierfigur portraitieren. Diese Klangbilder werden zumeist im Duo mit dem Lehrer gespielt und sind spieltechnisch leicht bis mittelschwer. Die Fabeln von Äsop und erstaunliche Fakten über die Fähigkeiten der Tiere kommentieren diese musikalischen Skizzen, die teilweise auch miteinander kombiniert werden können.

His “Song of the Wild” consists of miniatures that portray the figure of animals in a modern musical jargon. These sound tableaus are usually played as duets with the teacher and range technically from easy to medium.
