Attractiveness of Poland to Venture Capital Investment

This work evaluates which of the key driving forces of venture capital are most influential on the recovery of Polish VC industry after the descent in 2009. To obtain multiple perspectives on the Polish VC sector, over a period of two months, seven in-depth interviews were conducted with entrepreneurs, an angel investor, a consultant, a director at the Polish ministry of Science as well as three managers of different Polish venture capital funds. The findings of this dissertation answer the following research question: Which factors influence the attractiveness of Poland to venture capital investments after the crisis in 2009?
